Indiana Pacers star Victor Oladipo raves about the team's acquisition of Malcolm Brogdon in free agency.

In an interview with Indy Star's J. Michael, Oladipo said that the Pacers luring Brogdon away from the Milwaukee Bucks was huge.

“I was excited for the opportunity to play with (Brogdon),” Dipo said. “I know what type of player he is, the level that he plays on and has been playing on the last couple of years from Milwaukee. To have him as an addition is pretty big for us.”

Despite the absence of a legitimate superstar, the Pacers have been one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference over the past couple of seasons. Even though they lost Bogdan Bogdanovic — who joined the Utah Jazz — they were able to make up for it by adding the former Rookie of the Year winner.

Last season, Brogdon averaged 15.6 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.2 assists as the starting point guard for the Bucks. He shot an impressive 50 percent from the field and 42 percent from beyond the arc. He was also considered one of Milwaukee's best defenders.

The Pacers made some key additions in free agency, and once again, they are hoping to make a deep run in the playoffs. Of course, the outcome of their season will be based on how good Dipo will be after recovering from injury, but the team in general has the potential to be really good.
