The Indiana Pacers are in the running for two solid role players in Danny Green and Justin Holiday as they await the return of star Victor Oladipo.

Via J. Michael of the Indy Star:

Green averaged 10.8 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game for the NBA champion Toronto Raptors during the 2018-2019 season.

Holiday averaged 10.5 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists for the Chicago Bulls and Memphis Grizzlies.

Both Green and Holiday would provide the Pacers with shooting from the outside, with Green also bringing terrific defense and loads of championship experience to the fold. This would be very useful as Oladipo recovers from a serious knee injury that could keep him out until 2020.

Indiana also has a decision to make with its own free agent, Bojan Bogdanovic, who could command a contract north of $20 million per year. The Pacers do have a good amount of money to work with this offseason, so they have options. They already traded for Phoenix Suns forward T.J. Warren before the 2019 NBA Draft for cash. Warren also brings perimeter shooting if he can stay healthy.

Indiana was playing outstanding basketball in the Eastern Conference before Oladipo went out for the year. The team maintained its playoff seeding before being swept in the first round by the Boston Celtics.
