Despite technically becoming eligible to return from the COVID-19 list on Saturday, one day before his Green Bay Packers are set to take on the Seattle Seahawks, Aaron Rodgers said there is still a “small possibility” that he will not suit up for a second straight game.

The latest development involving the star quarterback should not bode well for Packers fans (via Pro Football Talk's Michael David Smith).

Rodgers' admission was easily one of the most polarizing comments of the day. Multiple teams in the NFC are currently battling with the Packers for the number one seed and are anxiously awaiting to hear the news on who will be under center for Green Bay on Sunday.

Backup QB Jordan Love left a lot to be desired in his first-ever start (and that is just being nice,) so teams know that whether Rodgers plays, that might be the factor in a win and a loss for the Packers this weekend against the Seahawks. One win or one loss can be the difference between a bye and having to face a super-hungry postseason team during a wild card weekend.

One team that is probably the most intrigued by the latest news on Rodgers, the Seahawks are getting their own superstar QB back this week when Russel Wilson comes back to face the Packers. Both of these teams are also at the center of the Odell Beckham Jr. sweepstakes. OBJ will have a new team by the time these two squads face off on Sunday and they are both hoping that he would eventually suit up for them.
