All appears fine and dandy in the land of cheese heading into the regular season. Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst spoke with reporters on Wednesday and provided context to his conversations that he's had with Aaron Rodgers lately.

“I’ve had really good conversations throughout camp with Aaron and Matt (LaFleur), and I think the communication has been really, really good,” Gutekunst said. “As we went into this kind of decision-making period, I think everybody, all the people that are kind of involved in that — were very aware of what was going on and why we were doing what we were doing. So I feel really good about that. And the conversations that I’ve had with Aaron have been excellent.”

While some of this may need to be taken with a grain of salt, it's a complete turnaround from what started to unfold this offseason for the Packers.

It appeared at multiple different points in time that Rodgers wouldn't be returning to Green Bay after a fallout or–fallouts–between him and the Packers' front office.

He ended up returning and the Packers and the reigning MVP reworked his contract and traded for his buddy, wide receiver Randall Cobb.

Gutekunst providing details noting that his conversations specifically with Rodgers have been excellent will have Packers fans smiling from ear to ear. With the regular season right around the corner, the vibes appear to be fine in Green Bay (for now) between their superstar quarterback and the front office.
