After his Jeopardy hosting debut aired on Monday, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers hinted at an intriguing possibility on Tuesday. Appearing on Good Morning Football on NFL Network, Rodgers said he believes he could balance both gigs.

Certainly this isn't going to thrill many Packers fans by any stretch of the imagination. There's always been an odd falsehood that if you're a franchise quarterback it's all you can do and focus on if you want to succeed. So anything that falls outside that spectrum can ruffle feathers in a fan base.

Rodgers debut seemed to go over well with the rabid Jeopardy fan base who haven't minced words about the fill in hosts so far. It helped that Rodgers had a viral moment in show number one.

All of this adds just another lair to what has been an interesting offseason so far for the Packers. They haven't had much cap space to do anything in free agency after resigning Aaron Jones. The logical avenue to explore was to restructure the contract of Rodgers, providing reassurance for No. 12 and the years to come for him in Green Bay while also providing the Packers flexibility to sign some more players. The Packers haven't gone down that road yet and seem reluctant to do so. It has Packers fans wondering what the future after 2021 could hold for the quarterback position in Green Bay.

For now, fans can enjoy seeing Rodgers over a span of 10 episodes of Jeopardy that he will continue to guest host.
