Aaron Rodgers' future with the Green Bay Packers has already been a major question mark this offseason, and the superstar QB just added fuel to the fire with his latest Instagram post.

While he did not mention anything about it being the end of his time with the Packers, several fans are thinking that might be the case. Rodgers called it #MondayNightGratitude as he thanked everyone who had been part of his journey in the past season and over the last few years, but it could definitely be taken as some sort of a goodbye message given the timing and current rumors surrounding him.

He first mentioned his ex-fiancée Shailene Woodley, whom he showed appreciation for her support throughout their time together. To recall, the two have reportedly split after more than a year of engagement. The reason behind the breakup is said to be the Packers QB's focus on his career, barely spending time with the actress.

“[Shailene Woodley] thanks for letting me chase after you the first couple months after we met, and finally letting me catch up to you and be a part of your life. Thanks for always having my back, for the incredible kindness you show me and everyone you meet, and for showing me what unconditional love looks like, I love you and am grateful for you,” Rodgers wrote.

Aaron Rodgers then proceeded to show his gratitude to his Packers teammates, starting with the two guys he spent the most time with as quarterbacks: Jordan Love and Kurt Benkert. He also gave a special shoutout to Randall Cobb and wife Aiyda Cobb, as well as David Bakhtiari and girlfriend Frankie Shebby.

“To the Friday Crew, [Aiyda, Randall, Frankie, Bakhtiari], I loved every moment we got to spend together this year. Your love and support was overwhelming, and I cherish the friendships I have with each of you,” Rodgers said.

“To my teammates, past and current, you are the icing on the beautiful cake we call our job; football. the friendships that we have will transcend our collective time in this game and I am so thankful for the role that each of you have played in making my life that much better. I love you guys, and cherish the memories we’ve made.”

Now this might be Rodgers simply being thankful. Everyone can do that, and for the 38-year-old veteran who had quite a season filled drama, it's definitely plausible he just wants to show his appreciation to everyone who has been around him since Day 1.

But of course, we can't blame fans for thinking otherwise. People often see lengthy messages like that from athletes when there's an occasion or they are leaving their teams–the common farewell messages so to speak. And coming from Rodgers who has been in trade rumors in recent weeks, it's hard not to think about what it could really be despite Aaron trying hard to hide it.

The Packers have previously said they have all the intention to keep Rodgers, though the QB has been linked with teams like the Denver Broncos and Pittsburgh Steelers.

It remains to be seen what will happen with Rodgers and the Packers, but his latest Instagram post certainly doesn't help. What it did, though, is generate more interest on the looming decision of the four-time MVP.
