On Thursday Night Football, the Green Bay Packers earned themselves their fair share of critics for passing the ball four times from the one-yard line to beat the Philadelphia Eagles in the waning moments of the game. Critics came in abundance, as they didn't score a touchdown, rather Philly ended up with an interception.

Packers great Brett Favre isn't one of those critics. Why? The man throwing the ball: Aaron Rodgers. Said Favre Sirius XM NFL, via Matt Schneidman of The Athletic:

“New England is a pass-happy offense and I kind of get the feeling that New England runs just for the heck of it, just to throw you off every 20 plays or so, and the Packers are sort of that way. If I got Aaron Rodgers as my quarterback I may throw it every time, you know? So be it. And in that game he extended plays over and over again, had 400 some odd yards passing, was just killing 'em, killing 'em, and the Packers defense on the other hand could not stop Philly, and mainly their running game, so you had quite the opposite on each side but both successful.

“I think you dance with the one who brung you, you know the old saying. And with Aaron, look, if I'm an odds maker I say they're on the goal line and have eight plays and they pass it all eight times I got to believe they're going to get two touchdowns out of it. I mean you would think that too with Aaron Rodgers as your quarterback. And it didn't happen so by no means am I questioning Matt LaFleur, his thinking, his mind set, because he's got Aaron Rodgers as his quarterback.”

Though the Packers have Rodgers as their quarterback, they didn't succeed on the goal line and ultimately fell to 3-1. However, do you agree with Favre's take?
