The Green Bay Packers are 4-1 and find themselves in a tough NFC North divisional battle in Week 6. They have a date with the 2-1-1 Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football.

It appears they will likely have to play that game without superstar wide receiver Davante Adams.

Adams is not definitely out just yet. However, things aren't exactly looking great for him. This is tough news for the Packers.

Although they managed to handle the Dallas Cowboys pretty easily, they got a major performance out of Aaron Jones in Week 5. You can't expect four rushing touchdowns from your running back each week.

At some point, you'll need your passing game to get you in the end zone.

Yes, they still have a Hall of Fame quarterback in Aaron Rodgers, but he doesn't have much help. Jimmy Graham has dealt with injuries of his own at tight end, and has been hit or miss this year. Meanwhile, Marquez Valdes-Scantling takes up the mantle as the number one receiver.

While Valdes-Scantling has big play potential, he's not exactly a number one target. Going up against a tough divisional foe, Green Bay would like to be at full strength, or at least have its best offensive weapon for Rodgers available to them.

It looks like that won't be the case though. In fact, Adams still isn't sure when he'll be available again, meaning this potentially could be an issue that stretches past this week.

For now though, the focus is on Week 6. If Adams indeed can't go, the Packers will need to rely on the rest of their receiving corps to step up and help Rodgers and Jones out on offense.
