Davante Adams has all the confidence in the world in Geronimo Allison. The Green Bay Packers have been discussed endlessly this offseason, and most of the talk has surrounded Aaron Rodgers and new coach Matt LaFleur. Adams is going to be the focal point of the offense, and young players such as Marquez Valdes-Scantling have also received a lot of buzz.

Allison has flown more under the radar, and that might be a mistake on the part of the media. Allison is going to have a shot at a large role, and there's no reason to think he won't be able to grab it. Allison started as the number three wideout last year, and played really well before injuries derailed his season.

Randall Cobb, the number two man last year, is no longer in Green Bay, which should free up even more targets. Allison looked like he was on his way to a huge season before the concussion and hamstring injuries last year. Adams thinks Allison will be able to pick up right where he left off.

“He’s the guy who’s been working a lot in the slot, and he’s used to playing a little more outside, but this is making him a little more dynamic,” Adams said recently, per Wes Hodkiewicz of the team's official site. “I think Matt has really tested him or challenged him to widen it out so he can play multiple spots. … Him being able to move around right now and be healthy, be himself and just play, being able to have all those things, it’s going to be dangerous.”

An undrafted free agent out of Illinois in 2016, Allison has greatly surpassed any expectations for his career. But he isn't satisfied yet, saying that he's going to “use what I did well early on [last year], get off to a fast start, sustain it, and stay healthy.”

If he can stay on the field, Allison should easily set a career-high mark in yards.
