Ha Ha Clinton-Dix was one of the biggest names traded ahead of the 2018 NFL trade deadline. After making it clear during the season that he did not plan to re-sign with the Green Bay Packers, general manager Brian Gutekunst made the tough decision to move him. Green Bay ended up getting a fourth-round pick for him.

Over the past few years, Clinton-Dix has been viewed as the best defensive player on the Packers' roster. He had taken over as the face of the Green Bay defense ahead of Clay Matthews.

Trading him wasn't an easy decision with what he has meant to the franchise. Clinton-Dix took the time to post a heartfelt goodbye message to Packers' fans on his personal Twitter account.

“The past few days have been filled with lots of emotion. Even though I will be continuing my NFL journey with the Washington Redskins, there will always be a special place in my heart for the Green Bay Packers. I want to thank the Packers organization for the opportunity to rep the green and gold the past five years. The relationships made with coaches, teammates, Lambeau Field staff and the Green Bay community will be missed.”

He went on to thank the fans, in particular, for their support of him and to promise that he will continue working hard with his charity to help kids.

“And for the fans, I can't express enough how much I appreciate your love and support. You are all amazing! I will continue to give back to kids and those in need through my foundation and will keep Wisconsin close to my heart.”

Clinton-Dix will end his career with the Packers with impressive numbers across the board. Assuming he has played his final game in Green Bay, he will have recorded 380 total tackles to go along with 5.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, 14 interceptions, and 25 defended passes.

Green Bay fans will miss Clinton-Dix and certainly will wish him the best of luck throughout the remainder of his career, except when he's playing the Packers.
