It's still very unknown if Aaron Rodgers will return to the Green Bay Packers in 2022 and after his cryptic Instagram post on Monday night, it left many thinking he will move on from the franchise. While Rodgers cleared the air on Tuesday on the Pat McAfee Show and basically said he was just spreading the love after a 12-day cleanse, Davante Adams' current stance in regards to a contract extension won't please his quarterback.

Rodgers and Adams have formed an unstoppable QB/WR duo for many years and there was even some talk that both guys could leave the Packers for the Denver Broncos. However, the wideout has yet to speak with the organization about a new deal.

Via Tom Silverstein:

It's no secret that Rodgers would probably leave the Packers if Adams departed. They're close friends and have a terrific partnership. As Silverstein noted, Green Bay could use the franchise tag on Adams if they can't agree on an extension.

Obviously, if the Packers lost both players, it would be a serious blow. Their offense would have a completely different look and it's very tough to replace Rodgers and Adams.

Davante Adams is coming off another fantastic campaign, racking up 11 touchdowns and over 1,500 yards receiving. March 8th will likely be the day we know if Aaron Rodgers is going to stay with the Packers or not.
