Jake Kumerow may not be a household name in the NFL, but most Green Bay Packers fans know him and are excited to see what the future holds with him. Count Aaron Rodgers among the people that believe he has a bright future ahead of him, as the superstar quarterback has talked about his talent on multiple occasions.

Bleacher Report recently named Kumerow the Packers' most intriguing project player, which comes without question.

Beyond Davante Adams, each spot among Green Bay's wide receiver corps is up for grabs. Kumerow could go from an undrafted free agent four years ago and now on his third team to the Packers' second or third option.

As previously mentioned, Rodgers talked about Kumerow and what he brings to the field for the Packers.

“The key is … his being reliable and earning my trust,” Rodgers said last week, per Wisconsin State Journal's Jason Wilde. “I never feel like there’s been a real difficult recipe or plan. It's you know what you're doing; you're in the right spot at the right time; and you don't make repeat mental mistakes. And that is who Jake Kumerow is.”

Kumerow didn't play much last season, but did end up catching eight receptions for 103 yards and a touchdown. He has great speed, athleticism, hands, route running, and a work ethic to match the talent.

Standing in at 6-foot-4 and 210 pounds, Kumerow has a great frame as well. He has all of the physical tools to become a big-time target for the Packers. Now, all he has to do is continue developing into a key piece for the Green Bay offense.

Expect to see much more of Kumerow this season. He may not win the No. 2 or No. 3 job, but he will force his way onto the field much more than he did in 2018.
