The fallout continues for the Green Bay Packers. An explosive report by Ty Dunne of Bleacher Report has sent shockwaves throughout the organization as well as the NFL as a whole.

The piece contained explosive allegations about former Packers coach Mike McCarthy, and also portrayed Aaron Rodgers as a bad leader. There's been a lot of pushback since the piece was published, with former Packers players speaking up in defense of Rodgers.

Rodgers even took to the radio to defend himself, blasting players like Greg Jennings who were named in the article as criticizing him. Rodgers also said flatly that many of the details in the story weren't accurate. Now team president Mark Murphy is getting in on the action, denying most of the story in a recent interview with WXOW.

“It’s all in the past. It’s a lot of half-truths and a lot of stuff just made up. The conversation that allegedly took place between Aaron and I was completely false. We had a great conversation. It was very positive. We talked about Matt LaFleur and I said ‘Aaron, I think this change is going to be great for you and the organization' and he was very positive,” Murphy said.

In the Bleacher Report story, Murphy allegedly called up Rodgers when the team was about to hire LaFleur, and warned him not to be the problem. Murphy took over as the team's front office head when Ted Thompson finally stepped down two seasons ago.

It's been a chaotic offseason for the Packers, but at least they're getting it all out of the way before the season starts. It'll be very interesting to see how they respond when the lights come on.
