The Tennessee Titans offense wasn't all that impressive this year on the offensive side of the ball and new Green Bay Packers coach Matt LaFleur admits it pushed him out of his comfort zone. Packers president Mark Murphy said in the opening press conference the way LaFleur adapted to all the challenges the Titans presented this year impressed him and was a big reason he got the job.

LaFleur was the offensive coordinator for the Los Angeles Rams last year and decided to leave that job with all it's stars to take the Titans job.

“I needed to challenge myself,” LaFleur said, via the team’s website. “It would have been easy to stay in L.A. You look at the roster, you look at the success they’re having this year. I took the risk because I knew I had to get out of my comfort zone and grow as a coach. The lessons I learned this year, I learned football is not easy. You’d better navigate through some adversity, and I was proud of that.”

The Packers hope that LaFleur doesn't face much adversity with the team but if he does it will be interesting how he handles it because the pressure is going to be higher.

Aaron Rogers is not getting any younger and there is a lot of pressure on the team to win another title before he hangs up the cleats. The Packers hope that the adversity he faced with the Titans will help him during tough times and he will be able to help deliver the Lombardi Trophy back to Green Bay.
