When Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers said last August he was immunized, it led everyone to believe that he's vaccinated against COVID-19. Well, everyone except for one reporter.

Apparently, former ESPN personality Michael Smith caught wind of Rodgers' semantics in his presser and expressed doubts about his vaccination status. Right from the start, Smith believed the Packers signal-caller is not vaccinated when he used the word “immunized” to describe his vaccination status.

The video of Smith (from his Peacock show “Brother from Another”) emphasizing his analysis of Rodgers' statements is now going viral amid revelations that the reigning NFL MVP is indeed not vaccinated.

Aaron Rodgers may have not lied with his statement, and perhaps he was of the belief he's “immunized” against COVID-19 because of the other treatments he took. However, he definitely fooled a lot of people considering that he answered “yeah” when asked if he got the vaccine–before saying he's “immunized.”

Rodgers tested positive for COVID-19 recently, which brought his vaccination status to light. Unvaccinated players who tested COVID-19 are required to isolate for 10 days before being allowed to rejoin their respective teams. The 37-year-old already missed their Week 9 game against the Kansas City Chiefs, and he's likely to be sidelined again in Week 10.

For what it's worth, Rodgers recently addressed all the questions and backlash he got from the vaccine fiasco, but it did more harm than good as it only opened a can of worms on what truly transpired.
