Aaron Rodgers' future with the Green Bay Packers has been a major talking point in recent days, with several rumors on a possible trade popping out here and there. One of the biggest discussions recently is a potential move for Rodgers to the Tennessee Titans.

The speculation started after Rodgers was revealed to have “purchased land and is in the process of building a home in Nashville.” As everyone knows, it is the same area where the Titans play, so fans and experts alike were quick to point out a Rodgers-Tennessee partnership.

It is common in sports to start speculations with such kinds of links. Whenever an athlete sells a home in the current city he is playing, talks on how he's about to move or get traded start to heat up. It's the same for athletes purchasing a home in a different city — which is the case for the current Packers QB.

Amid those rumors, however, the Titans have apparently denied any interest in the 38-year-old QB as they remain committed to Ryan Tannehill, per Turron Davenport of ESPN:

A team source confirmed to ESPN that the Titans don't consider Rodgers to be an option for them at quarterback and have full intentions of moving forward with Tannehill.

For what it's worth, Titans GM Jon Robinson earlier defused the talks of moving on from Tannehill amid the Aaron Rodgers trade rumors, confirming that the 33-year-old will remain their starting QB:

“Ryan’s our quarterback,” Robinson told A to Z Sports. “He’s made a lot of plays for us. He’s a great leader. He’s extremely tough. Love what Ryan brings to our football team, love what he stands for. We’re looking forward to him getting back in there, and getting back on track, and keeping this thing rolling.”

Rodgers has proven in 2021 that he remains one of the best QBs in the league. While he is at the latter stages of his career, he continues to dominate and perform at a high level night in and night out. However, his future with the Packers has been a question mark ever since the 2021 campaign started and many didn't even believe he would be wearing green throughout the past season

The veteran signal-caller has been linked with various teams, including the Pittsburgh Steelers. Nonetheless, there's really no decision yet on what will happen to him. The Packers have repeatedly said they want him back, but Rodgers pointed out that he doesn't want to be part of a rebuild if the team takes that path.

Green Bay will have a lot of decision to make in the offseason. Rodgers is under contract until 2023, so the only way other teams can acquire him is through trade.
