Could the Green Bay Packers trade for disgruntled Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown?

John Breech of CBS Sports seems to think so.

Breech cites the fact that Packers wide receivers had a lot of difficulty getting open for quarterback Aaron Rodgers this season, an issue that Brown obviously does not carry.

Brown would comprise a pretty lethal duo with fellow wideout Davante Adams, which would provide Rodgers with—arguably—the most talented receiving tandem to which he has ever had the pleasure of throwing the football.

The Packers also own two first-round draft picks this year, meaning they do have the assets needed to entice the Steelers into dealing with them.

Green Bay went just 6-9-1 and missed the playoffs this season, resulting in the firing of long-time head coach Mike McCarthy following a brutal Week 14 loss to the lowly Arizona Cardinals.

The Packers have now failed to qualify for the postseason two years in a row, marking the first time they have missed the playoffs in back-to-back years since 2006. Last season, the Packers won just seven games, largely due to the fact that Rodgers was sidelined for most of the year with a broken collarbone.

This season, however, Rodgers was fully healthy. Green Bay just couldn't get the job done, as Rodgers fell under heavy criticism for a lack of leadership and what some have called a sharp decline in his performance.

Still, Rodgers hardly had a bad season, throwing for 4,442 yards, 25 touchdowns and just two interceptions while completing 62.3 percent of his passes and registering a passer rating of 97.6.
