The first touchdown that McCaffrey scored on Sunday came after taking a handoff from Kyle Allen. This time, the versatile running back was lined up out wide as a receiver.
Once Allen saw a linebacker across from McCaffrey, he knew exactly where he was going with the ball. Yes, Myles Jack was the linebacker that was tasked with covering the Panthers running back. But no matter who it is at linebacker, there is no one who is going to be able to keep up with McCaffrey.
Surprisingly enough, this play gives McCaffrey his first receiving touchdown of the season.
