Minnesota Timberwolves guard Patrick Beverley has the opportunity of a lifetime: a partnership with Bud Light. Yes, you read that right. After the Timberwolves defeated the Clippers on Tuesday, Patrick Beverley took to the podium for a postgame press conference. He had a Bud Light right beside him before spewing some choice words. The NBA eventually fined Beverley $30,000 on Thursday for excessive profanity.

Beverley took to Twitter to respond to the fine, simply firing back with a face-palm emoji. In response, Bud Light provided Beverley with a choice.

“Bev Light… take they a** home.” The Patrick Beverley haters are certainly not happy with this one, especially if they're Bud Light advocates. Now it's unclear if he's a beer guy, nonetheless Bud Light, but it provides a hilarious sight to see. It's something that we need to happen.

Beverley's ingrained himself in the Minneapolis community this season after being traded from the Clippers. In fact, he even got an extension with the team in February, as he is now under contract through the end of the 2023 season.

Beverley's numbers aren't exactly eye-popping, as he's averaging 9.2 points and 4.6 assists per game. With that being said, he's been able to provide some much-needed veteran leadership for the young team. Additionally, his defense has been crucial to leading the team to the playoffs.

Who knows, this whole situation may even draw in some outsiders to cheer for the Timberwolves. They are underdogs to begin with, as they'll be facing the second-seed Memphis Grizzlies. Just imagine Beverley sipping on some “Bev Light” after taking down the Grizzlies. Say yes, Bev.
