Fans of the Tennessee Titans are definitely going to love former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Adam Humphries. If not for Humphries' aggressive nature as a slot receiver on the field, Titans fans will love his loyalty as the Tennessee newcomer apparently chose the AFC South franchise over the heralded New England Patriots and future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady this offseason.

“Obviously, he’s the G.O.A.T. That’s that simple,” Humphries said of Brady, via Travis Haney of The Athletic. “But there’s so much that factors into a decision. It was a four-year deal. Who knows how many [years] he’s got left? There’s a lot that goes into it.”

“Obviously the chance to play with him would have been awesome, but a lot of things factor into that decision. Ultimately, I thought this was coming here to a team that was on the rise and with young talent on the offense and a really good defense. They’d had a taste of the playoffs. I felt like my need at the slot position was great. I felt like I could really contribute and start something new here.”

Humphries previously spent the first four seasons of his NFL career as a member of the aforementioned Buccaneers while going on to sign a four-year free agent contract with the Titans earlier in the offseason.

It is also worth noting that current Titans general manager Jon Robinson previously spent time as the director of player personnel in Tampa Bay, which presumably played a part in his team's interest in Humphries this offseason.
