Through his first four seasons in the league, Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams has developed into one of the league's top young talents at his position, and Bill Belichick is quite aware of this.

Belichick has voiced some major praise toward Adams ahead of their Week 9 matchup against the Packers, according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN.

“He's good at everything,” Belichick said. “He's a very good receiver. He's fast, he's quick, he's strong, got strong hands, can go up and take the ball away from defenders and he's extremely productive after the catch. He's got good running skill, he's a hard guy to tackle. He's quick and elusive, but he's a hard guy to get on the ground. He can break tackles and run through contact, so everything's a problem.

“The deep balls are a problem. The catch-and-run plays are a problem. The intermediate third-down possession routes are a problem. He's one of the top receivers in the league. He's hard to cover, he's a hard guy to tackle and he's got a great quarterback throwing him the ball in a great offensive system. So all the stars are in alignment.”

Davante Adams has continued to develop into one a legitimate star wideout in the league that has seen him step into the No.1 receiving role with the Packers over the last two seasons. He is putting together a career-best campaign as he has notched 52 catches for 690 receiving yards and six touchdowns that has him on pace to post career highs across the board with 119 receptions for 1,577 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns.

The 25-year-old is on a hot pace heading into Week 9 action with a current streak of three straight games with at least 130 receiving yards, which has made him just the second wide receiver in team history to accomplish that feat. This has only further cemented Adams as the centerpiece of the passing game in Green Bay.

The Packers will likely continue to depend on him greatly against the Patriots while being featured in a huge role that may set the table for him to put together another strong performance. This also a chance for Adams to garner further recognition for the game-changing talent he is becoming this season. Bill Belichick and the Patriots don't look forward to playing such a serious deep threat.
