New England Patriots wide receiver Josh Gordon was dealing with a hamstring injury when he was traded over from the Cleveland Browns so his conditioning took a hit the first few weeks with the team. He also missed most of the Browns preseason dealing with his mental health. On Thursday Gordon was asked about his conditioning and he said this is the best he has felt and it's because of the entire strength and training staff.

“It’s night and day,” Gordon said, via WEEI.com. “Huge difference. Coach [Moses] Cabrera and the strength staff have been amazing and patient with me, helped me out through my injuries. The training staff, as well, bring me along where I’m safe and mobile. I think I’m as good as I’ve been.”

Gordon got off to a bit of a slow start with the Patriots but has really come on since the bye. He has caught his last eight targets for 128 yards and a touchdown. Although the targets have been down a bit, he is catching the passes thrown his way and has been a key part of the Patriots offense. On the season he has caught 34 receptions for 605 yards and three touchdowns

It also seems that Gordon has enjoyed not having the pressure of being a number one wide receiver on him like he did with the Browns. He is just another guy for the Patriots and he has quickly become a trustworthy target for Tom Brady. If he can stay healthy and on the field, this trade is going to continue to pay big dividends.
