Everyone is aware by now that Tom Brady has a unique diet that has likely helped him remain in the NFL for so long. He's been following it since his days with the New England Patriots. However, it seems Mac Jones has a diet of his own, but it's quite different when compared to Brady's.

According to Chris Mason, Mac Jones follows a less strict version of the TB12 method. Apparently, the Patriots' rookie quarterback prefers to eat steak, eggs, and spaghetti as his pregame meal.

“It's always the same thing regardless of the kickoff,” Jones said. “Same thing in college. Just getting into a routine. I've eaten that at six in the morning before 11 o'clock games in college. It's just part of the routine that I've gotten into. It just kinda gets your mind ready. It's nothing crazy. I think it's a pretty simple meal.”

Steak and eggs is a common breakfast, but spaghetti? At 6 a.m.? Mac Jones could be onto something though, as it might be time to add spaghetti to the menu at Waffle House. Either way, professional athletes are known for following a strict routine to set their minds right for the game. It appears the Patriots quarterback has found his.

Additionally, Jones enjoys a nice post-game snack as well and typically leans towards a dessert. “It had been chocolate chips for a long time, but my new thing is the Mochi balls. It's like the rice balls with ice cream in them. They're so good.”

Steak, eggs, spaghetti, Mochi balls. How can you go wrong? Of course, this is drastically different from Tom Brady's diet. Even so, it must be working for Mac Jones, as he's played as the best rookie quarterback of his draft class so far.

The Patriots have a tough game in Week 8 against the Los Angeles Chargers. Hopefully, the pre-game meals work out for Mac Jones, as he'll have to perform his best if New England hopes to win that game.
