The New England Patriots are fresh off of a dominant 38-24 victory over the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday Night Football. It was a big game for the Patriots, who moved to 3-2 on the season. Indianapolis, on the other hand, dropped to 1-4 on the season with the disappointing loss.

Rob Gronkowski and the Patriots' offense looked absolutely unstoppable against the Colts. Tom Brady picked the Colts' injured defense apart and put up big numbers all game long. He also spread the football around.

Perhaps the biggest play of the game was a massive 34-yard touchdown lob to wide receiver Josh Gordon. If you missed the play, the NFL's official Twitter account posted a video of it.

Touchdown celebrations have become a big thing in the NFL. New England is most known for their star tight end doing the “Gronk Spike” following scores. Gordon tried his hand at the spike and Gronkowski was well aware of it.

Gronkowski had a brief quote to give about the spike that Gordon threw down following his first touchdown with New England, as reported by 247 Sports.

“It was unbelievable; he did a great job.”

Brady also talked about the play that Gordon made on the big touchdown. Gordon made an adjustment to the jump ball and won against two Indianapolis defenders.

“That was a great play Josh made, you know, jumping over the top of two defenders. That tells you the kind of confidence I have in a really short period of time. You know, he’s earned it and happy to see him make that play.”

Gordon may have had his issues in Cleveland, but since being traded to New England, he seems to have won everyone over. Being able to throw down an impressive “Gronk Spike” is simply going to warm up the fans to him even more.
