Tom Brady and Julian Edelman share a lot of history together, including the unforgettable Super Bowl LI comeback for the New England Patriots, earning the wide receiver his second of three titles.

On Wednesday, while sharing a photo on Instagram, Edelman saw a familiar face enter the comments section—his old buddy Brady, 42, now with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who referenced a memorable quote out of the chapter of the Patriots' 2016-17 championship season.

“Gonna be a hell of a story,” the Bucs quarterback wrote, via Dakota Randall in NESN.com.

Brady, who stunningly signed away from his longtime Patriots this spring, referenced Edelman's prescient quote from the sidelines during that comeback victory over the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI in Houston, Texas. “It’s going to be a hell of a story,” Edelman was heard saying multiple times throughout what looked to be a tremendous loss for New England on the biggest stage.

However, with Brady and Edelman's help, the Patriots persevered through a 28-3 deficit and the rest was history, marking the star quarterback and the Patriots' fifth title before all parties would win another Super Bowl two years later over the Los Angeles Rams (Edelman would win MVP honors in that game, too).

While Super Bowl LI may have been simultaneously the best and worst night of Falcons' fans' lives—they were so close to glory with what could have been the franchise's first title in history—from then until eternity, Brady, Edelman, and the Patriots get bragging rights for the “hell of a story.”
