After the Tennessee Titans beat the New England Patriots quarterback Dion Lewis had some parting shots for his former team but it doesn't appear that Tom Brady is taking it too personally. Lewis had tried to downplay the big showdown coming into the game but after the game it was clear he wasn't happy with how his tenure with the Patriots ended.

“Hell yeah it's personal. That's what happens when you go cheap,” Lewis said, via NFL Media's Mike Giardi. “You get your ass kicked.”

“I didn't have to prove anything. I know I can play. I just had to let our team know that these guys are beatable. … I know those guys. I know that you be physical with them and let 'em have it and they'll fold.”

Brady was asked about the comments Monday morning on Kirk and Callahan and Brady said he understands the comments and he is sure most people who leave a team really want to go back and beat up on their former team.

“I give them credit, they beat us,” Brady said. “When you win, you can say a lot of things. That is the reality of winning. We’ll just take our lumps and try and learn from them. And come out here and do a lot better job the next six weeks.”

“It’s an emotional thing. I think people have different emotional feelings,” Brady said. “Dion had a great career here. It’s hard to see great players go and I know it’s not the first time it’s happened, it has happened to a lot of guys. I am sure when they go to different places they want to beat us, absolutely. I can understand that emotion. We’ve had guys come from other teams and they have wanted to beat that team. It’s just part of the sport.”

Lewis finished the game with 57 yards on 20 carries and although it wasn't his best game it was a true team effort that got the job done.

The Titans defense was strong all game only allowing Brady to throw for 254 yards and zero touchdowns. The win probably saves the Titans season, and if the two were to meet in the playoffs this could be a storyline to continue to watch.
