New England Patriots defensive back Devin McCourty wasted absolutely no time putting his team on the scoreboard on Sunday evening in Seattle.

However, McCourty also didn't waste any time in sending his regards to Patriots running back James White, who is inactive against the Seattle Seahawks after receiving some incredibly tragic news right before kickoff.

White's parents were involved in a car accident in Miami on Sunday, a crash that killed his father and has left his mother in critical condition.

The Patriots' Pro Bowl defensive back made sure to shout out White (No. 28) while speaking directly to NBC's cameras following the pick-six score early in the “Sunday Night Football” matchup.

According to the NBC broadcast, White will fly back to New England with his teammates after the game before then taking off for Florida. Sunday evening's broadcast also mentioned that Patriots team owner Robert Kraft offered to allow White to use his private jet to immediately fly across the country, but the New England standout instead opted to make the trip alongside his teammates after the game.
