Peter Dinklage and Josh Brolin star in the action comedy movie Brothers which will be released in cinemas Oct. 1 and streamed on Prime Video starting Oct. 17, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Amazon MGM Studios acquired the global rights to the film, while producer Legendary Pictures will release it in theaters.

Joining Dinklage and Brolin are other big-name actors including Academy Award winner Brendan Fraser, eight-time Oscar nominee Glen Close, Taylour Paige, the late character actor M. Emmet Wash (seen here in one of his last roles) and Jennifer Landon.

Brothers follows the story of a reformed criminal (Brolin) whose plans to go straight are thwarted when he reunites with his twin brother (Dinklage) to go on a road trip for the score of a lifetime. They try to heal their fractured family bond all the while dodging bullets, the law, their overbearing mother, all the while without killing each other.

He was previously in last year's The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes as Dean Casca Highbottom. Dinklage will next be seen in the Jon M. Chu's live-action musical adaptation of Wicked as Dr. Dillamond.

The actor is famously known for playing Game of Thrones' Tyrion Lannister on HBO. He won four Primetime Emmy Awards for outstanding supporting actor in a drama series in 2011, 2015, 2018 and 2019. Dinklage was nominated for all eight seasons of the show.

Brolin stars in the sci-fi neo-Western Outer Range on Prime Video. He most recently reprised his role as Gurney Halleck in Denis Villeneuve's Dune: Part Two. The actor previously played Marvel supervillain Thanos in the last two Avenger movies, 2018's Infinity War and 2019's Endgame. He also played Cabel in 2018's Deadpool 2.

Barbakow most recently directed the 2020 Hulu original film Palm Springs, starring Andy Samberg and Cristin Milioti, and the dark comedy TV movie The Improv Guru.
