After coming up short against the Los Angeles Chargers last weekend, the Philadelphia Eagles will be back with a vengeance against the gritty Denver Broncos in Week 10. Now that they've established their groove and have vastly improved their play on both ends of the field, the Eagles are looking as if they could be a wild card team this year.

Especially with Jalen Hurts stepping his game up and putting his skills on display even with their disappointing loss in Week 9. If they want to come up victorious against the Broncos then they'll have to bring the heat and hit the Broncos with everything in their arsenal. Heading into a crucial Week 10 match-up with Denver, we'll now discuss four bold predictions for the Eagles on Sunday.

4 bold Eagles predictions for Week 10 vs. Broncos

4. Jalen Hurts will put up big numbers for the Eagles

As he's started to find his groove and play more efficiently under center for the Eagles, Jalen Hurts is due for a big game that he hopes will propel the Eagles to a big win on Sunday against the Broncos. Now that they've moved on from Zach Ertz, this has opened the door for Dallas Goedert, DeVonta Smith, and Quez Watkins to get more touches and Hurts to utilize the other skill players in the Eagles passing game.

Given all the turnover this franchise has endured over the past few seasons, it would be very refreshing for them if they could establish some consistency on offense with Hurts now running the show for them at quarterback. If he can continue to tap into his potential and showcase his talents as one of the league's premier dual-threat quarterbacks, then there's no doubt he'll be able to put up huge numbers for the Eagles on Sunday as they seek their fourth win of the season.

3. Jordan Howard will have a stronger rushing game against the Broncos

Coming off a sub par performance against the Chargers last weekend, the Eagles will need Jordan Howard to step his game up against Denver if they want to come away victorious and get back on the winning track. A Pro Bowl caliber running back who can excel out of the backfield or through the air, Howard has previously shown his ability to put on a stellar performance and lead by example.

If Philly can get more production out of him then they'll be able to run more diverse offensive sets. So come Sunday afternoon you can definitely expect the Eagles to implement him into more of their schemes as they aim to re-establish a winning culture in the City of Brotherly Love.

2. Darius Slay and Fletcher Cox will have a strong defensive showing

Currently two of the Eagles best defensive players, Darius Slay and Fletcher Cox are primed for a big game against the Broncos this weekend. Even in the midst of Philly's current struggles, Slay and Cox will undoubtedly come swinging and ready to disrupt Denver's offensive game plan as they hope to stop the losing and improve their chances of making the playoffs.

In spite of their recent setbacks and horribly inconsistent play, the Eagles are still sitting at second place in the NFC East. So a strong showing on the defensive side of the ball could really do them wonders and there aren't two better players than Slay and Cox to lead the charge for them and give them new life in their continued push to get back into the NFC playoff race.

1. The Eagles will come up short against the Broncos

Despite their most valiant efforts in their past few games, it seems like the Eagles keep coming up short and cannot find a solution to successfully closing out games. In their pursuit of another win against a hungry and determined Denver Broncos squad, the Philadelphia Eagles will have to pedal to the medal if they want a better outcome in Week 10. However, it doesn't seem like that'll happen for them as they're still in the process of finding their groove while searching for new ways to get a much-needed W.

Unfortunately for them, they'll be outmatched by this tenacious and athletic Broncos team that's displayed a ton of talent on both ends of the field and seems to have re-established a winning culture for the time being. So it can be expected that the Eagles will fall short in their upcoming showdown with the Broncos this weekend.
