The Phoenix Suns had quite a terrible year last season, finishing second to last in the Western Conference. They were only ahead of the Lakers, placing as the fourth worst team in the entire NBA. Compound that with a non-existent free agency, and there is not much for the fans in Phoenix to look forward to.

In the beginning stages of their rebuild, the front office needed to find some kind of plan or promotion to engage their fans while their woes continue on the court.

That plan seems to be remodeling their home floor and bringing back the fan favorite purple color to it.

For the past four seasons, the Suns' homecourt has featured some variation of orange and black, with the noticeable absence of one of the team's primary colors. For this upcoming season, they decided to bring back purple and make it the border along the sidelines:

It has been very well received by the fans so far. Tough times are ahead for the Phoenix faithful, but at least the court will look aesthetically pleasing until the Suns can hopefully return to prominence.
