Former Barcelona teammates Lionel Messi and Ronaldinho met each other in flesh at the Parc des Princes, home of Paris Saint-Germain.

Ronaldinho was in attendance during PSG's matchday 3 of the UEFA Champions League group stage game against RB Leipzig as the French club's guest of honor. As expected, fans went crazy and gave the Brazilian a standing ovation.

Moments before entering the arena, Ronaldinho met with his ex-Barcelona co-star Lionel Messi, who is now also one of the stars of PSG.

Ronaldinho recently posted a few photos of him and Messi having a little chat in a PSG dressing room. The pair looked really happy, having gotten the chance to do a short catching up.

“It makes me very happy to see him at the club where I started in Europe,” Ronaldinho said of his reunion with Messi via Marca. “It's something that I thought would never happen, I was sure that he would end his career with Barcelona.”

“When I arrived in Barcelona, there was talk of a very good boy,” he recalled. “After training together, I saw that it was true. In each game and each training session he [Messi] was something different. He became a true friend to me.”

Some may not know, but before Ronaldinho became a breakout star in Barcelona, he spent the first two years of his professional career at PSG. In 2005, Ronaldinho and Messi won their first La Liga title at Barcelona and went on to win again the following season.
