It looks like NBA rookies Cade Cunningham and Jalen Green have bold aspirations as they join the Detroit Pistons and Houston Rockets, respectively… in NBA 2K22 that is.

As 2K Games revealed the player ratings for NBA 2k22, they also shared Ronnie 2K's interviews with the top picks of the 2021 NBA Draft, including Cunningham and Green of course. The youngsters got a first look at their initial ratings and made their predictions on what their rankings would be at the end of the 2021-22 season.

Of course, both the Pistons rookie and Rockets newcomer were full of confidence in their answers.

Cunningham is the only rookie to have received a rating on the 80 range, which is exactly what he expected. However, his aspirations are way higher, as he sees himself going as high as 88 at the end of the season. For what it's worth, All-Star guard Bradley Beal got an 89 rating in NBA 2k22, which means Cade is planning to play like a true All-Star in his first season in Detroit.

As for Green, he initially started at 77 before his incredible Summer League performance boosted him to 79–which was exactly what he said when Ronnie 2K asked him about his prediction for his ranking. Interestingly, the Rockets youngster sees himself ending up at 85 while expressing his confidence that he'll win Rookie of the Year over his Pistons counterpart.

Cade Cunningham was the first overall pick of the 2021 draft, while Jalen Green went next as Houston picked him second. With that said, it will certainly be interesting to see how the two top rookies will perform in 2021-22.

Aside from seeing who'll end up with the higher 2K rating at the end of the season, it's also intriguing who'll end up with the Rookie of the Year trophy–or if they will truly be the top contenders for the annual award.
