NEW POKEMON SNAP OFFICIAL GAMEPLAY TRAILER SHOWS APRIL 30, 2021 RELEASE DATE
The New Pokemon Snap gaming will be coming out on April 30, 2021, as shown in the newest gameplay trailer. Thankfully, that's not awfully a long time from now. The game is now available for pre-orders. You can check out every bit of detail and some screenshots from the official website.
EXPLORE THE LENTAL REGION WITH PROFESSOR MIRROR, RIDA, AND PHIL
Unlike the original 1999 Nintendo 64 game, New Pokemon Snap will bring you to a named region, called Lental. You work as a budding photographer aiding the research of Professor Mirror. The player character is once again customizable, with diverse options for your character's appearance. Accompanied by Rida and Phil, you will ride the NEO-ONE on-rails vehicle to capture snapshots of Pokemon in their natural habitat. From the trailer, we heard about jungles, deserts, and even under the sea. Apart from that, we observed lakes, ponds, and prairies.
Using the Lental fruit Flufffruit, players get to observe Pokemon behaving in unique ways. Indeed, New Pokemon Snap allows players to interact with Pokemon in ways you've never had the opportunity to before. You also get to witness them behave in interesting ways, and interact with other Pokemon in the wild.
Using Illumina orbs, mysterious balls made by Professor Mirror, you can make any Pokemon glow. Their abilities also change color thanks to the Illumina phenomenon. With these, players can get even more unique photos of Pokemon unleashing their abilities with gusto.
TAKE UNIQUE PHOTOS AND GET INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION IN NEW POKEMON SNAP
After each run, Professor Mirror will rate the photos you took. You can get up to four stars for the most unique shots. Professor Mirror grades your shots based on their quality, attention to the Pokemon, and the rarity of the ability you just snapped. Pictures of Pokemon captured under the Illumina phenomenon will also rate more highly than regular photos.
You can fill your Pokemon Photodex with over 200 Pokemon in New Pokemon Snap. You can also share your best photos online (which requires the pesky Nintendo Switch Online Membership.) Players can gain recognition for their perfect shots, and even get featured on the main page of the online sharing platform if they get popular enough.
Showcasing your photos will be as fun as it can be. Apart from the usual photo editing techniques, you can also put filters over your pictures. Frames and stickers can also be applied to your favorite pictures to personalize them even further.
Of course, the best part about New Pokemon Snap is you can share these with your friends. It's exciting to think about all the great pictures people will be trading with each other in the coming months. We can't wait for New Pokemon Snap to come out on April 30, 2021!

Apart from New Pokemon Snap, The Pokemon Company also the remakes for Pokemon Diamond and Pearl called Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl!
Also, a prequel game for Pokemon Diamond and Pearl called Pokemon Legends Arceus will be coming out in early 2022 as well.
