The Pokemon Company celebrated the Pokemon franchise's 25th anniversary with a 20-minute showcase presentation. In this presentation, The Pokemon Company celebrated 25 years of the Pokemon brand. Consequently, they showcased how the game started with just a game, evolving into a multi-media empire. The presentation shows us how ubiquitous Pokemon is. It also showed us just how many Pokemon-related things never reached us here in the West. But most importantly, The Pokemon Company revealed new games, events for existing games, and exciting reveals. Let's take a look at all of these.

ALL THE GAMES REVEALED IN THE POKEMON 25TH ANNIVERSARY LIVE STREAM

The 25th-anniversary celebration of Pokemon revealed two new games and gameplay footage of one upcoming game.

First off, The Pokemon Company presented gameplay footage of the upcoming New Pokemon Snap for the Nintendo Switch. The picture-taking game will come out on April 30, 2021, and excited players can now pre-order it. This game takes players to the new Lental Region, where they will assist Pokemon Mirror in his research by taking photographs of wild Pokemon.

Second, The Pokemon Company revealed a game that many fans have been asking for for quite some time now. The Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl remakes will be released in Late 2021. Incidentally, the remakes of the two Nintendo DS games will be called Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl. ILCA, the developers for Pokemon Home, will be taking development duties from GameFreak on this game.

Finally, they revealed what may be the biggest Pokemon game ever. Called Pokemon Legends Arceus, this game will take players to a pre-modern times Sinnoh. Acting as a prequel to the Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl games, Pokemon Legends Arceus will signify the Pokemon franchise “entering a new era.” In this game, players will finally be able to capture Pokemon in the wild in real-time, throwing Pokeballs at them from a sneaky distance. Unfortunately for us, Pokemon Legends Arceus will release for the Nintendo Switch at the very far away date of Early 2022.
