If white was starting to look boring for your PS5, then don't fret. You'd be able to change that pretty soon, thanks to Sony's new galaxy-themed flavors for the PlayStation 5.

All the lawsuits against Dbrand all make sense now. I mean, there has been a lot of speculation before that Sony will be making their own PS5 plates, but now it's officially confirmed. Sony announced that they will be releasing Midnight Black and Cosmic Red PS5 Console Covers this January 2022. They will have the same color and will be matching with the previously-released Midnight Black and Cosmic Red PS5 DualSense Controllers. These slick-looking covers don't have a price yet, but they better not cost more than Dbrand's own PS5 skins.

Meanwhile, red and black will soon be passé as well. Sony will also be introducing brand-new DualSense Controller colors come the new year: Starlight Blue, Galactic Purple, and Nova Pink. These colors will also be made available as PS5 Console Covers as well, so never worry about mismatching parts. Or actually, you can buy multiple of these and mix and match plate colors and controllers – lest you be an erratic creative who loves seizure-inducing color combinations.
