It seems the NFL office is cracking down on players who aren't correctly protecting themselves from COVID-19 off the field. Las Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller was recently fined $30,000 after hosting a fundraiser without wearing a face mask. He had several teammates in attendance who also decided not to wear a mask, resulting in a fine of $15,000 per player (via NFL's Tom Pelissero).
#Raiders TE Darren Waller was fined $30,000 and several teammates were fined $15,000 each for attending Waller’s recent fundraiser, at which some were photographed without masks, sources tell me, @RapSheet and @MikeGarafolo.

Darren Waller held the event on Sept. 29 with over 100 people in attendance. Though he faced a hefty fine along with his teammates, he was still able to raise over $300,000 dollars behind the fundraiser's efforts.
#Raiders QB Derek Carr was among the several players who got fined, and source said his was for $15K. An expensive charity event that raised roughly $300,000. Carr was quoted as saying “We should have kept the masks on, even if we are coming in and they're introducing us."

The fining of the players is only one bullet point on a long list of issues for the Raiders right now. They recently lost a Week 4 contest to a surging Buffalo Bills squad on Sunday. The Raiders were projected to walk away victorious in the matchup, but their defensive efforts once again were lackluster.
Derek Carr was able to turn in a superb performance completing 32-of -44 passes for 311 yards along with two touchdowns. The problem once again for the Raiders was being burdened with a defense that can't maintain momentum. The Bills came out with the exact momentum that's carried them to a perfect 4-0 record through Week 4.
As for the Raiders, their defense will have to get it right soon. The offense had a few lapses on Sunday against the Bills, but that hasn't been the telling story of the season so far. They can end their two-game losing streak against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 5, though that task may deem to be harder than their previous one.
