Bruce Irvin and the Oakland Raiders are having a truly horrendous season. They fell to just 1-5 on the year after they were manhandled by Irvin’s former team, the Seattle Seahawks, in a 27-3 blowout in London.

However, Irvin doesn’t seem too down about the Raiders’ struggles. The veteran pass rusher had some interesting perspective about that loss in London and revealed some of his plans with his significant other upon returning home to the States.

“We lost, but I've got a beautiful wife I get to go home to, boy. I'm going to try to make some babies, man,” Irvin said per Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.

Irvin definitely has a healthy way of looking at his current situation. While the Raiders clearly look like one of the worst teams in the league — and could get even worse if recent trade rumors about Amari Cooper turn out to be true — Irvin still has it pretty good.

He’s a multi-millionaire with a loving wife waiting back home for him. Who wouldn’t be happy to have that sort of life? It's obviously not great for one's professional life to heading in this sort of downward trajectory, but Irvin could certainly be having it so much worse.

Although, with the way the Raiders’ season is heading, Irvin may have to satisfy himself with plans of expanding his family because he likely won’t get much satisfaction on the field.
