During his media session with reporters on Wednesday, Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr was asked an interesting question by Tashan Reed of The Athletic.

Reed, who covers the Raiders, asked Carr why the star QB blocked him on Twitter.

Carr not only provided a long answer, but the Raiders gunslinger even offered to go to lunch with Reed to talk about it.

This is fantastic stuff right here. Derek Carr, who has a history of blocking trolls on Twitter, answered this question by Tashan Reed just about as brilliantly as anyone could. The three-time Pro Bowler, as you can see, has a great personality and it's fun to see it from time to time, especially with the media.

Carr and the Raiders are 6-4 on the season and in second place in the AFC West standings. Although they put up a great fight in Week 11 against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, the Raiders lost to KC by a final score of 35-31.

However, Las Vegas is still in the hunt for the wild card in the AFC.

Carr has thrown for 2,431 yards on the season. He has 19 touchdowns and only three interceptions. The Raiders' leader is completing 69.7 percent of his passes and looks a lot more comfortable in Jon Gruden's offense compared to last season.

Las Vegas will look to get back in the win column in Week 12 against the Atlanta Falcons.
