Henry Ruggs got himself caught in a terrible situation recently, as the former Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver was involved in a fatal DUI car crash that killed a 22-year old woman and her dog. Now, this new footage shows just how fast and dangerous Ruggs was going at the time of the accident.

TMZ got a hold of this CCTV footage of what is assumed to be Ruggs' vehicle moments before the fatal crash. In it, the second car (presumably the ex-Raiders WR's vehicle) is travelling at an insane speed, way above any speed limit in any country. Driving at this speed, especially if you're intoxicated, will only result in a disaster. (via Ari Meirov)

Ruggs was reportedly going at 156 miles per hour at the time of the crash, which is, uh, too fast. There are also circulating reports that the ex-Raiders WR was heavily intoxicated at the time, as he was seen partying and having drinks hours before the reported crash. If there was anyone ever trying to defend Ruggs for his actions, this latest video will likely shut them up.

For their part, the Raiders released Ruggs immediately from the team. Quarterback and team leader Derek Carr was one of the first people to give their support to Ruggs, saying:

“He needs people to love him right now. He’s probably feeling a certain type of way about himself right now and he needs to be loved. If no one else will do it, I’ll do it.”

Unfortunately, all the love in the world can't bring back that poor woman's life. Ruggs is facing up to 46 years in prison for multiple charges. Hopefully, the ex-Raiders player will learn from his mistake and come out of this situation as a better person.
