The Oakland Raiders knew they were going to have to score in bunches in order to keep up with the high-powered Houston Texans in Week 8. Fortunately, wide receiver Hunter Renfrow was able to oblige.

Renfrow caught a slant from quarterback Derek Carr and broke two tackles on his way to a 65-yard touchdown for the first points of the game, via NFL Twitter:

It is safe to say that Renfrow's first career touchdown came in spectacular fashion. The fact that former Clemson teammate Deshaun Watson was there to bear witness only solidifies this notion.

The rookie has largely played a modest role in Oakland's passing attack in the 2019 NFL season. However, plays like this will certainly go a long way in convincing head coach Jon Gruden to get him more involved as a weapon for Carr.

Renfrow will have an opportunity to put together a career day in this favorable matchup against a vulnerable Texans' secondary.
