The Oakland Raiders have been chosen to grace the big screen by appearing on HBO's Hard Knocks series. Jon Gruden has gotten people even more hyped with his recent quote that will appear on the show.

In a recent post by the NFL Films Twitter account, Jon Gruden gave an epic preview of Hard Knocks with his “nightmares” speech. Here is the video for your viewing pleasure.

The head coachm who has the nickname “Chucky,” is into nightmares and not dreams? Color me shocked.

Gruden has always been a quotable head coach but if this doesn't get you excited for Hard Knocks, I don't know what will. This Raiders roster is going to be must-watch television with Gruden coaching them up.

Earlier this offseason, the Raiders acquired Antonio Brown via trade from the Pittsburgh Steelers. Brown is an interesting character and will be perfect material for a behind-the-scenes look at training camp.

Along with Brown, Oakland added Richie Incognito and Vontaze Burfict to the roster. From then on, the Raiders seemed like the chosen ones to be the team to do HBO's Hard Knocks.

Usually, we get a few memorable moments in Hard Knocks from the Jeff Fisher 7-9 bull**** quote or the emergence of Bob Wylie as a true American hero in last year's series. This year's Raiders shouldn't have any shortage of entertaining moments for us to watch.

The show first airs on August 6th but that shouldn't stop you from watching Gruden's nightmare speech on repeat until then.
