Josh Jacobs and the Las Vegas Raiders are making a statement on Sunday versus the Kansas City Chiefs. The visitors were imposing and superior.

Despite being double-digit underdogs to the Chiefs heading into the game, Jacobs scored two fourth-quarter touchdowns to give the Raiders a double-digit lead. They protected that lead and won, 40-32.

The first Raiders touchdown came after an impressive drive by Las Vegas' offense, getting into the red zone with ease. Derek Carr would then hand the ball off to Jacobs on second down and would allow the second-year back to punch the ball into the end zone.

Then, the Raiders' defense would make another stellar play, intercepting Patrick Mahomes and returning the ball to inside the five-yard line. On the first play after the interception, the Raiders would let Jacobs hit paydirt again, extending the Raiders' lead to 16.

The Raiders needed their defense and Jacobs to carry them the rest of the way with the Chiefs scoring a touchdown after Jacobs' second score, trimming the lead to eight points late in the fourth quarter. Las Vegas dealt the Chiefs their first loss of the season. The AFC West is now a two-team race, with the Silver and Black fully in the mix.
