Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Brandin Cooks was evaluated for a concussion after a catch in the 4th quarter according to Lindsey Thiry of ESPN.

Cooks was hurt after a 29-yard catch on a key third and eighth during the 4th quarter. Seattle Seahawks cornerback Shaquill Griffin landed hard on Cooks and it appeared that Cooks hit his head hard on the ground.

He needed help getting off the field and was taken to the locker room to be evaluated. Pete Carroll challenged the catch claiming it hit the ground but the play was upheld.

That was Cooks only catch of the game and he hasn't gotten off to as hot of a start as last year but has still been a key part of the offense. He has 20 catches on the season for 325 yards and a touchdown.

Through the first five games, it's been the Cooper Kupp show for the Rams offense and it was no different on Thursday night catching nine passes for 117 yards and a touchdown. On the season Kupp has 41 passes for 505 yards and four touchdowns and if Cook misses anytime it means that Kupp will probably be in line for more work.

The Rams offense had another big night but a couple of key drops late hurt them. Kicker Greg Zuerlein had a chance to win the game on a 44-yard field goal late, but he missed it and that drops the Rams to 3-2 and into third place in the NFC West behind the San Francisco 49ers and the Seahawks.
