The Los Angeles Rams won a thriller on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts as Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp went off. But, the Rams might be dealing with an injury to Darrell Henderson, who got banged up against the Colts.
According to Lindsey Thiry of ESPN, Henderson is dealing with a rib injury and the Rams will monitor his status throughout the week.
The Rams are already thin at the position after dealing with a devastating injury to Cam Akers that is going to sideline him for the entire season. But, the hope is that Henderson can return for their next game.
Against the Colts, Henderson had 13 carries for 53 yards and a score and he also added three catches for 29 yards as he led the backfield. After Henderson's departure from the game, Sony Michel–who was recently acquired from the New England Patriots– garnered 10 carries for 46 yards and would be called upon if Henderson had to miss time.
The Rams' next game isn't easy, either. They will host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at SoFi Stadium in what some are calling a Super Bowl preview, in the same stadium, nonetheless.
The Rams will check in on Henderson throughout the week, but the hope for Sean McVay and his team is that he can be ready to roll.
