Los Angeles Rams star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr had his first Super Bowl appearance against the Cincinnati Bengals cut short by a scary-looking knee injury. Beckham was able to walk off the field but was noticeably in pain and never returned to the game. Fortunately for the star receiver, his team was able to secure the Super Bowl trophy after the win over the Bengals. Unfortunately, Beckham received an update on his knee injury on Monday and it wasn't good.

Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Rams star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr suffered a torn ACL during Sunday's Super Bowl win over the Bengals. With an arduous recovery ahead, Beckham will now likely be hard-pressed to be ready for the start of the 2022 campaign.

It's a bittersweet end to a season that started off poorly for Beckham in Cleveland with the Browns but ended in the best way possible with a Super Bowl win over the Bengals.

The LSU product certainly left his mark on the game before exiting with the knee injury, as he hauled in two catches, including the game's first touchdown, along with 52 receiving yards.

Beckham agreed to a one-year, $1.25 million deal back in November and appeared in eight games for the Rams, hauling in 27 receptions for 305 yards and five touchdowns. He is set to become a free agent in March.

Beckham had said that he would be willing to take a pay cut to remain with the Rams after the Super Bowl. His torn ACL may leave him with no choice but to accept a smaller contract.
