Odell Beckham Jr. scored another touchdown on Monday night as he helped the Los Angeles Rams to a 30-23 win over the Arizona Cardinals. That's now three straight games wherein OBJ has logged a TD and it prompted quite a fiery reaction from Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson.
Jefferson took to Twitter to call out OBJ's critics following another solid performance by the three-time Pro Bowler:
Beckham has done brilliantly to resurrect his career with the Rams after falling from grace with the Cleveland Browns. According to Jefferson, the problem was never really with OBJ, which probably means he is implying that the issue was always with the Browns.
Based on what we have seen from Beckham since his mid-season move to the Rams, it does seem like Jefferson has a bit of a point here. On Sunday, OBJ caught 6-of-7 of his targets against the Cardinals for 77 yards in what was one of his best performances in a Rams uniform. We do not expect the 29-year-old to bring back his All-Pro form now that he is in LA, but it does appear as though he's going to play a crucial role for the Rams the rest of the way.
