Before Game 3 of the NBA Finals took place, Shaquille O'Neal talked to Toronto Raptors wing Danny Green during warmups, telling the veteran sharpshooter to get his act together and play better.

Green responded by scoring 18 points, all of which came from beyond the arc. He helped the Raptors beat the Golden State Warriors 123-109 to take a 2-1 series lead. After the game, Green hilariously discussed Shaq's shooting advice:

Here's what Shaq — noted shooting expert — told Green before the game:

Throughout his career, Danny Green has made a reputation as a reliable 3-point shooter. He was instrumental in helping the San Antonio Spurs win the 2014 NBA championship, and he's looking to do the same with the Raptors.

However, Green has been inconsistent throughout the playoffs, and he really struggled in the Eastern Conference Finals against the Milwaukee Bucks. He has been getting it together against the Warriors, though, and if he can continue to be more consistent on the offensive end, the Raptors will greatly benefit from it. They are going up against a Warriors team that has built a dynasty from being efficient in the 3-point area, and if Toronto wants to have a bigger chance of winning the title, everyone on the roster will need to bring the best versions of themselves.

The Raptors will look to take a commanding 3-1 series lead in Game 4 on Friday, and if they can replicate their Game 3 performance, they might just succeed in doing so.
