Game 5 between the Toronto Raptors and the Indiana Pacers had an unusually early start time for a playoff game, with tip-off coming at 6:00 PM EST earlier this evening.

Knowing that some fans would struggle to get out of work and make their way to the arena in time in such a big city like Toronto, Raptors GM Masai Ujiri decided to take a stand.

Ujiri proceeded to write a letter for fans asking for permission to get out of work early because of their integral impact on the success of the Raptors.

I'm not sure how many people this actually worked for, but it's a funny idea and surely made for some laughs above the border.
