There are few more iconic moments in last season's playoffs than THAT Kawhi Leonard buzzer-beater for the Toronto Raptors in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Philadelphia 76ers. The moment could not be any bigger, and Leonard made sure that he would step up to the plate when the lights were the brightest.
This moment is so memorable that a perfectly timed photograph of Kawhi's amazing shot has won the most prestigious photo contest in the entire world. Kudos to photographer Mark Blinch who was the man behind the lens in what will forever be considered as one of the greatest sports photos of all time.

The edge-of-your-seat anticipation caught in this image is simply astounding. Even Leonard himself, who is notorious for being one of the most unemotional dudes in the entire league, can be seen eagerly awaiting the result of his last-second heave. The whole Raptors bench, the fans, even the cleaning crew are seen literally holding their breath as the ball bounced several times on the ring before in trickled down.
You could also almost feel the pain of Joel Embiid in the photo, who looks like he's about to burst into tears. I believe he actually cried a little bit once he saw the ball go in. For his part, Ben Simmons seems all but completely deflated here. He probably knew the ball was going in from his angle and knew exactly what it meant once the ball goes through the net.
Truly epic.
