Toronto Raptors star Kawhi Leonard is officially listed as questionable for Wednesdy night's home game against the Washington Wizards due to left knee soreness, according to a report from Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun.

It sounds like the Raptors are being cautious ahead of the All-Star break. Leonard logged 34 minutes in Monday's win over the Nets, racking up 30 points on 10-of-20 shooting (9-of-9 from the charity stripe) with a season-high eight assists, two rebounds, one steal and one three-pointer.

Leonard knocked down the game-winning shot against the Nets. With 4.2 seconds remaining, the former San Diego State standout banked home a shot, which gave the Raptors a 127-125 victory.

“I asked if he called ‘bank,'” Toronto coach Nick Nurse told ESPN during his post-game availability. “He said he called ‘game.'”

In 43 appearances with the Raptors this season (all starts), Leonard has racked up averages of 27.0 points on 49.2 percent shooting from the field (36.3 percent from downtown), 7.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.9 steals in 34.8 minutes per outing.

If Leonard is indeed ruled out of Tuesday night's game, Norman Powell will likely get a starting nod.

In other Raptors-related injury news, Freddy VanVleet is slated to miss at least the next three weeks of action due to a partial ligament injury to his left thumb, which occurred in the second quarter of Saturday's win at New York.

Wednesday night's Raptors-Wizards game is scheduled to tip inside Scotiabank Arena at 7:30 p.m. ET. Toronto won the first three matchups between the teams this season.
